Here is how the 2012 Marsha Neal Studio Silk Color Palette Challenge worked...
There were 2 rounds (one in the early spring 2012, one in the summer 2012).
Round 1 was given a group on photos to draw inspiration from to pick their color palettes.
Round 2 picked their own inspiration photo to pick their palettes.
Palettes were picked with up to 10 colors from my Silk Color Chart: Flickr photo set
Mosaics like this were made, then voted on for round 2 (round 1 was invitational from a group of online friends).

The 24 finalist palettes (from Round 1 and Round 2) are still in it to qualify for these milestones:
Each of the 12 finalist palettes artists qualify for these milestones:
1. When 10 of your silk knot bundles sell, you get 1 free 2mm Silk Knot Bundle of your choice.
2. When 30 of your silk knot bundles sell, you get 1 free Silky or Fairy Ribbon Silk Knot Bundle of your choice.
3. When 50 of your silk knot bundles sell, you get $50 worth of Marsha Neal Studio Clay pieces.
4. When 100 of your silk knot bundles sell, you get $200 worth of Marsha Neal Studio Clay pieces.
We'll see if anyone sells over 100...
