Ok, so it's no secret that if you are into beading or jewelry making of sorts...
You've probably got a detail oriented or slightly obsessive type personality right?
Not saying it has to be in a way of being neat and organized...
Who has time for that really...
Although being a bit more neat and organized means we would be able to find our stuff when we are struck with inspiration...
I don't know any beader or jewelry designer that would ever admit to having too many things in their supply boxes (hordes of beads, tools, stringing materials, raw materials, inspirational imagery, informational books, anything really...)
Well...
The other day I was talking to one of Chloe's teachers at school...
I always think that I border on the "I've lingered here to talk way too long, but I can't help it because I am home alone all day and need adult conversation".
(Sorry, my cats don't count - they are too into their own thing)
And we were gabbing and laughing, and she asked me to look at a group of the students work and see if I could pick out Chloe's. Well, up until now, her artwork has looked - well, like most 2 year olds. But take a look at this picture of the grouping of projects:
The bottom center project is Chloe's...
What do you notice about it?
Yup - all the fish are glued so they are swimming in the same direction...
I'm sure there is some psychological thing to it...
Some insight into how she is going to deal with things in life...
I do like order, and things to be symmetrical in ways that are pleasing to the eye - in an interesting way...
But I giggled at it all after picking my mouth up off the floor, and just thought - well, she will definitely be into my bead stash before I know it...
It's going to be interesting to see what she gets into.
So far she is pretty determined too to do things herself.
Strong, smart, independent woman hopefully...
