So this week's challenge hosted by Laura over at I AM THE DIVA CZT Blog is to use the new tangle IXORUS.
Here is my drawing:
Which now that I am looking at it, by me wanting to enclose the ends of it, has it become Crescent Moon - or at least is is pretty darn similar… Hrmph…
I was in a bit of an angular mood when I drew this out… I may end up doing another one this week sometime.
Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteVery intricate, you can sure tell that Ixorus is a tangleation of Crescent Moon.
ReplyDeleteI really like these drawings you have been doing.
ReplyDeleteI really like this! I haven't got the hang of this IXORUS thing at all. But you do!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoy your tangles Marsha. I haven't understood the shading of things. I am doing these here and there. I am working on one impromptu one based on my signature E on a stickie note right now. I think I will submit that one to the drawing lab. I find myself not being very inventive with my patterns. I love all of yours. And then I would also like to find a way to reproduce this in my new work, on clay. Not sure how I would go about doing that in such a small space. Thank you for always inspiring me, Marsha!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy the day!
Erin
Very nice! It really draws you eye to the center of the tile.
ReplyDeleteLooks very contained and full (in an absolutely wonderful way)!
ReplyDeleteits like a map! i LOVE it!! ;]
ReplyDeleteWhispering ~ stuffed crust pizza ~ and hunger for more of your tangles
ReplyDeleteI was also moving in a Crescent Moon vibe... I see how you can go there. Fun!
ReplyDeleteI love all the comments - THANKS! I can see that it is now a map to the nearest Pizza Hut (I must have been quite hungry last night while I was drawing this - hehehe). Erin - I love the idea of the post it sized tangle for Drawing Lab… I think a series of them would be AWESOME!!! Can't wait to see them!
ReplyDeleteIt´s a wonderful 'WHEEL OF FORTUNE'.
ReplyDeleteLove it!
Really Cool!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely cool!
ReplyDeleteVery nice! It would make a wonderful design for a fancy pillow! (It must be the curly-cues at the end that give me that impression!)
ReplyDeleteA map to Pizza Hut . . . I love it! ;-)
